London Fashion Week Festival 23-26 February 2017

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND is NOW London Fashion Week Festival

One of the most anticipated events in Fashion. The Ultimate Fashion Experience, and “Where Fashion Comes To Life”.

This very special 4 Day fashion event organized by the British Fashion Council, allows consumers to experience the atmosphere of London Fashion Week and provide a vision into the fashion industry. For 2017, London Fashion Weekend becomes London Fashion Week Festival and moves in with London Fashion WEEK to 180 Strand.

Newly revamped for 2017- and staged in an exciting new venue, The Store Studios, 180 Strand – this is the only event that gives you unparalleled access to the industry to experience the best of British and international fashion including a showcase of designer and trend catwalks shows, designer shopping and industry talks. Shopping from over 150 British and international brands and trend presentations from Avenue 32.

Each season, London Fashion Weekend selects four of London’s hottest designers to showcase their seasonal collection on the catwalk. Each show will feature the work of one designer and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Check back soon for those presenting their collections this Feb!

This season London Fashion Week designers Huishan Zhang, Mother of Pearl and Teatum Jones will present their SS17 collection on the catwalk at LFWF. The BFC have also curated a series of educational and exclusive talks from industry insiders hosted by stylist and fashion expert Martha Ward. Speakers include: the catwalk designers; stylist and journalist Pandora Sykes; curators from the V&A, Kensington Palace and the Museum of Modern Art NYC and a careers masterclass by lecturers from the London College of Fashion, Central Saint Martins, The Fashion Retail Academy and Westminster University.

Made from 100% organic cotton, the bag was inspired by this season’s Vivienne Westwood Autumn-Winter 2017/18 show entitled ‘Ecotricity’. The map graphic is Vivienne Westwood’s representation of NASA’s projection of the effect of climate change on the world, should the earth’s temperature rise by four degrees or more. Westwood’s solution is simple: SWITCH to Green Energy ‘Ecotricity’ and STOP Climate Change.

The limited edition totes are included with silver, gold and LUXE tickets, and a limited amount will be available for purchase by bronze ticket holders at London Fashion Week Festival for £20 each. 50% of the profit will be donated to Westwood’s choice of charity, Fuel Poverty Action, which works with pensioners’ groups, tenants’ associations and others who provide practical aid in the form of blankets and draft-proofing, as well as helping people to get their debts written off.

Tickets started from £20 for Bronze and escalated with Silver = £40, Gold = £60, LUXE = £145, LUXE Premium = £200.
